HIV and AIDS

Welcome to the HIV and AIDS Home Page! This will hopefully become a place of sharing ideas,

lesson plans and activities that have worked well for you during your service. It can also be a place

where after you go home, you can continue to donate ideas and information back to the volunteer

network, so that they can have access to high quality, well thought out information and resources!

ICT and HIV - Opportunities for Volunteers - The goal of this list is to serve as an idea book for volunteers.  Its goal is to spark ideas for the many ways in which a volunteer can incorporate ICT into their work.  The ideas for this list originated at the PEPFAR-funded Peace Corps conference in Maseru, Lesotho (Feb 2- 6, 2009).  The ideas listed here were collected from volunteers and organizations serving all over Africa.  Some of these ideas may not be practical in every country or at every site, but there are also many low-tech ideas that should be practical almost anywhere.  Hopefully this list will grow over time as more and more people contribute to it.  I hope that you will add information about your projects, organizations working in these areas, and links to useful software and other resources.
